Andrae’s Bakery is located in the smallest incorporated city in California, Amador City. An untouched, small town along Historic Highway 49 that will take you back to the gold rush era. We are in the ‘newest’ main street building designed by Jane, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright. . . a barn with a heart. It is the perfect addition to a town that never changes (trust me, I grew up here).

Amador City is located 45 miles east of Sacramento on historic Highway 49.
Southbound Highway 49 from Highway 16
Take Hwy 49 South from Hwy 16 for 3 miles.
Turn left on to Old Highway 49 to Amador City
Drive 1 mile to the south end of main street.
We are the stand alone building on the right.
Northbound Highway 49 from Jackson
Take Hwy 49 for 6 ½ miles north.
Turn Right on to Old Highway 49 to Amador City
Drive 1 mile to the south end of main street.
